K-Diagnostics Remote SDx Gateway
A secure website layer for running the installed K-Diagnostics SDx software on a server, while the customer connects with a matching Windows or Android client.
Important: a normal web page cannot directly tunnel J2534/USB from the browser. This portal controls a server-side SDx agent and pairs with a native Windows or Android USB-over-IP client/helper.

How it works
Remote diagnostics architecture
USB/IP client helper
The native helper creates the secure transport for VCI access. The browser only starts and monitors the session.
K-Diagnostics Gateway
This web portal authenticates users, creates session tokens, tracks client heartbeat, and streams status/logs.
Server-side SDx
The installed SDx Windows application or backend agent is launched on the server and bound to the paired session.

Server API template
Node.js server included in remote-gateway-server/. It handles login, sessions, heartbeat, client logs, and optional SDx launcher hook.
Client contracts
Windows and Android JSON examples define the pairing fields your apps need: server URL, session ID, session key, platform, interface mode, and log/heartbeat endpoints.
Security rules
Do not expose raw diagnostics without protection
- Use HTTPS/TLS on K-Diagnostics.dk.
- Prefer VPN or private tunnel for USB/IP traffic.
- Use one-time session keys and short-lived tokens.
- Keep J2534/VCI drivers on the client device, not inside the browser.
- Log every session start, stop, interface state, and SDx launch event.
- Require stable vehicle power supply for any advanced function.
